@th0rned-arr0ws, mentally prepare yourself.
Scores of Varelsi surrounded the Aelfrin warrioress, many were taken down by her knocks of arrows as well as Blight magics; but so many more took the former’s place. It all seemed endless, more and more Skulks took up positions against her. Knocking back another arrow into a incoming foe, she is unable to see the Hunter that had flanked her, knocking over.
But then, a... godsend(?) had arrived to save her from such a fate. Boldur jumps into the outer fray of Varelsi, and begins to cleave through the creatures with his axe, making his way to his to his granddaughter. The dwarf, having no intention to argue with her just yet, scoops her over his shoulder. He makes a snarky remark, whilst slamming his axe down on the Hunter whom unknowingly to him, caused her to be in this position: “Bit off more than you could chew, eh little rose? Reminds me of myself, only a millennia ago!”
He punches through the horde, Thorn in tow. He normally never ran from enemies... but she was more important than any dead enemy. Boldur was more than willing to lose a little face against these monsters, for her sake.
