Training was hard, even more so thanks to Galiea’s young age. The Arbiters needed the best of the best in their ranks so they chose their pickings at a young age. Readying them for war before they could even realize there was anything else to think about. It was all Galilea knew. 

Even with the long hard days she was still able to keep her head held high and her faith in tact. Just being chosen was enough to make Galilea proud, to keep her will about her. She was determined to be a hero at any costs.

✂ - a vivid memory

She knew when betraying the silent sisters she would have hell to pay, but this was even more than she could’ve imagine. Surrounded by heat and fire, all she had was her shield to hope that she could back out alive. Armor mostly melted away, the warrior knew she had no chance. Sunspots were fading but they seemed to go up as soon as they went down. Left with no other choice Galilea laid down, giving up the struggle. There was no escape, no chance, all she could hope was that Ambra had enough mercy to end it straight out. However, things didn’t go that way. As soon as she fell she could see Ambra turn. The fire was still burning, but it seemed as though the Jennerit was pleased.

“Ambra please... No- Not like this...” She tried to call out through coughs, but it was clear there was no chance.

LIGHT IN THE ABYSS

Ambra passes Galilea as she walks down the hall to go back to her room, but doesn’t say anything to her. She is adamant about ignoring her, sewing her mouth shut until she is back in the comfort & privacy of her quarters before pulling out the sutures of silence. ( The smell of ozone still clings to the woman, a distant scream stitched permanently into the fabric of her skin that barely holds her body together, a violet ragdoll made of flesh & the dark. ) She avoids eye contact, head held high as her shoulder barely comes into contact with the Peacekeeper’s, refusing to even acknowledge her presence.

Galilea knew off the back when Ambra was brought on board Nova that it wouldn’t be an easy adjustment. But this? It was almost too over dramatic. It was all based off a conflict from hundreds of years ago, surely it could be forgiven. Placing her hand on her hip she turned and faced the other. 

“Don’t you think...” Unable to finish her sentence she actually realized how scared she was. Attempting to tell herself it was no big deal and there was nothing to worry about didn’t seem to work. She bit her lip as she sighed, but yet she wasn’t going to turn away.

They were trapped, a mission had managed to gone downhill and the Jennerit outpost they were going to burn down they managed to get caught in. The rest of the team had managed to make it out, Galilea was thankful for that, until she saw that Miko was trapped with her.

“Miko! I told everyone to run. Why the hell did you stay?” In a state of panic it seemed that Galilea was more demanding than worried, but to her it was better to keep order in this time than to worry. She knew she had to get Miko out and didn’t want to cause anymore panic with showing them her anger.

66. Your muse comforting mine after a nightmare.

It wasn’t abnormal for Galilea to have nightmares, it seemed her dark energy almost forced them on her. From hearing whispers and taunts in her head all day it was to be expected that they caused problems in sleep too. 

However, tonight’s nightmare wasn’t a typical one. It was the burning of her home-world all over again. She hadn’t had this nightmare in a very long time, but it still hurt as much. She hadn’t even realized she had screamed when she woke up. Getting out of bed she planned on taking a walk to try and calm herself after what happened. That was until she bumped into someone else. 

“Oh, uh, sorry… I was just, going for a walk?” For once her voice showed more confusion in it’s tone rather than corruption. Being caught without armor and in this state wasn’t a typical occurrence for Galilea, and it was easy to tell.

Galilea catches herself watching Ambra a lot, and has a very hard time looking away. If Montana notices he'll give her a big bear hug to try and distract her
