Send me an emotion and I’ll describe how my Muse expresses it non-verbally.
panic is an odd one, because his reaction depends on who he’s with and how they’re reacting. if others are panicking worse than him, he actually becomes really serious and immediately starts trying to fix the situation, and rally people into being less frightened and to start doing something productive instead. he’s certainly not “calm” in a crisis, but he doesn’t freak out either, i’d describe his body language as “taut”, like a drawn bowstring.
so in this case, he would stand up straighter, any movements with his hands become forceful and decisive, and he rushes everywhere in a hurry.
the same is true if someone else has taken control of the situation, except in that case he follows their lead and does basically whatever he’s told until the crisis moment has passed.
he’s much much more likely to freak out if something bad happens while he’s alone. he’s much less decisive, he pulls into himself and then freezes, with his mind racing to try to figure out what to do, rushing to do something about it and then changing his mind and going the other way to do something else. he’s also a panic-crier if the situation is bad enough
basically he was born with ‘Well Someone Has To’ disease, so he reacts to crisis much better in a group
all the time all the time
IN SERIOUSNESS THOUGH: he leans forward into conversations, gestures a lot (though rarely high up, usually at chest level or lower), or grabs onto both sides of the front of his coat if he’s wearing one
he sways a lot and is bouncy like soda bubbles, as if he’s about to levitate off the ground from the force of how excited he is. he also pantomimes actions along with what he’s saying, if for example he’s telling a thrilling story.
