Oh god, probably. My first favourite band was Bowling For Soup and I've only just in the last year started listening to them again and tbh it holds up better than I thought it would. Demi Lovato falls sort of into the same trap - I have recently shed my internalised shame lmao

Thank you for asking about my latest obsession. 😭 I started a new chapter today. It’s syrupy sweet and spicy, too.

Here’s an unedited tidbit from the beginning of chapter 5:

Steve smiles at you. It’s completely disarming and whatever quip might have been on the tip of your tongue is immediately dispelled. Instead, you lean in and kiss him on the lips.

He hums against you in reply, fingers trailing the expanse of your back. “Waking up next to you is the best thing in the world.”

“Oh and last night wasn’t?” you say, pouting, but can’t help laughing softly under your breath.

“Last night,” Steve says, “was definitely out of this world.”

Heat flushes your face and you bury your head in the crevice of his neck. “Steeeeeve…”

“What? It’s true.” He wraps his arms around you in a bear hug.

“Steve…” your voice is muffled against him. Probably you shouldn’t ask now but you need to know. “Last night. Last night was not just… wasn’t just friends with benefits, was it?”

All of a sudden you feel cold and press closer for warmth. It’s as if the past has found a crack in your armor big enough to finally seep through. Shit.

“What? No. No. It wasn’t.” Steve peppers your brow with kisses. “No, sweetheart. It certainly wasn’t. I want to be with you. For real. If that’s what you want, too.”

You take a deep breath and nod. “Yes. Yes, that’s what I want. It’s… I’m sorry I asked it’s just… I couldn’t do that again. Not again.”

Zari/Tala update from the Legends showrunner to TV Line- "Tala will be returning to the show but Zari, the character we know and love, will not be. Nate is welcome to go look for her next season, but he will not be pleased by what he finds." So it sounds like Charlie 2.0 - keep the actress around but give her a much different/rougher around the edges character this time [even if this one might just be a different Zari and not a completely new character]

OH THANK GOD

I mean, I’m still way not ok with losing Zari, but we still have Tala so that’s the small silver lining
