✑ Who flirts more?

Ooo. Ooooooo. Oooooooo. I think . . . Verbally, Serana. She'll say things just to get under Vigdis's skin. However, Vigdis is definitely more physically flirtatious. She's the type to give a light kiss or to teasingly avoid kissing Serana's lips just to rile her up. In other words, they both do flirt probably the same amount, just in different ways.

✑ Do they act different in public and at home?

Nnnnno not really no! Vigdis does a little, in the sense that she's not that much of a public affection-ist so she saves it for the moments when her and Serana are alone together. Other than that, they're just them as much as possible. And it gets them into trouble sometimes--

✑ Who remembers things?

Depends on what it is! Serana will remember their moments together a little more vividly than Vigdis because she likes to reminiscence, whilst Vigdis is all about living in the moment--mostly because she spent so many years just surviving and made it so that she never had time to think. Thankfully, Serana loves to . . . remind Vigdis. c;

After Vigdis is no longer needed to save Tamriel from impending doom and destruction, every day spent with Serana is like a date to her.

Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

I smile whenever I manage to cram a Princess Bride reference somewhere. It’s not mean, but I feel quite delighted about it all the same. I don’t know if I’ve ever been mean in a fic otherwise persay. If I was, I’m not sure it was intentional. ^^;;

What made you start writing?

I was fully inspired by someone else’s fic and their stories. Specifically, I wanted a part two to Compassion Begets Caring, but I realized as I thought about it that what I wanted was falling asleep in a bubble bath, and nightmares, and cuddly gerbils, and all kinds of things that someone else wouldn’t include and that I couldn’t demand of them. So then I just wrote Captive Crown, hee.

What’s a trope you will never write?

I’m not very fond of major character death. I like my hurt to have a good dollop of comfort, after and major death is. Not easy to recover from. I avoid reading them too, they make me sad.

Oh and “You lied to me”s. I hate them hate them hate them. They’re always born of a misunderstanding, and I will never use them and get mad when they show up anywhere else. Misunderstanding tropes of any stripe drive me nuts. Just talk to each other for like two minutes, this is unnecessary drama.

How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

SORRY LOST AND FOUND YOU’RE COOKED. SIX MONTHS LATER, NOTHING.

But ohh, Half a Conversation FLEW, I had that like 7k done in nearly one sitting, with a little sneaking it here and there at work throughout the day as little thoughts occurred because oops. I can knock out 2k words in like an hour if we’re really feeling the scene (and maybe spoke-planned the script in my head while driving. Finding Venigni’s voice while driving home from work was ridiculously fun and my fbi agent is judging me—heck, I’m judging me too) ...aaand gin helps lol. Not while driving to be clear. When home in front of the laptop. Less interest to stop and consider what I’ve written.
