Also am stipulating for myself this character needs to have been in my life for at least 3 years so a couple of noticeable absences. And then I decided I'd just make this about characters in multiple season series, because the movie + book picks were frankly getting outrageous in number!

#the email makes it pretty confusing how it applies to me as a 'non-certified' sub (ie w education but not a teaching license)#bc i think they mixed smth up w para subbing #or whatever #the requirements to be a para sub are just that youre an adult. and i guess that youve finished high school #to be a classroom teacher sub you have to have 2 years of college at least #so if youre subbing for a para thats a lower rate #it looks like they mixed up the info about that but either way it's several bucks above what i make now as an hourly rate #thaaaank youuuuu #tales from diana

A HAPPY LIFE.

In truth, a happy life in Reno’s eyes is exactly what he does on the day-to-day. Follow Reno around for a day, for a week, and the life he is currently living is the ideal happy life. At least, Reno perceives himself to be happy. Is it actually happiness? He loves his job and can’t imagine being anything else than a Turk, and if he isn’t a Turk, he still wants to work closely with Rude ( which is kind of like a done deal ) and use all his skills. He loves his appearance, otherwise he would modify any aspect of it. He enjoys Midgar; he’s been tempted by the idea of living in Costa Del Sol, but Midgar harbors a seedy underbelly which he feels at home with. Having worked for ShinRa for so many years, he spends an excessive amount of money and has quite a lot saved up. What else is there to life?

Reno, for all his jests and ego, is a firm believer of — if you don’t like where you are in life, change it. If he believed himself to be unhappy for any reason, he would change it. A great partner who he trusts with his life, wealth, power, looks, his health. Reno could not ask for more!

38. What kind of weather does your character like? Cloudy skies, rainy days, sunshine, etc?

Kajh; A soft hum escaped him as he seemed to consider it, “It depends on the situation and context - when I was growing up rain could either be a reprieve or threaten our livelihood, nowadays, I’d have to say I prefer sun with a few clouds, maybe an evening storm.” He still enjoyed the warmth of a sunny day, but winding down to a gentle storm was relaxing. When he first began to travel more, the amount of rain startled and confused him, but now he’s very much grown accustomed to it. The wetness, he didn’t enjoy, but the rest of it was refreshing.

Dreyll; She brightened, as if the answer was written on her face, “Well sunshine is my favorite, I’d suppose, but... all sorts of weather has its place... the flowers wouldn’t grow without rain!” Dreyll is every bit sunshine at all times, and certainly enjoys a nice sunshiney day, but there was something unique and appealing to all sorts of weather, so she couldn’t claim to dislike any of it.

Rae; She tilted her head a little, tapping her chin, “Well, I prefer cooler shade-y days I suppose... but it’s hard to get things done in the rain, and having to trudge through mud is a pain... but bright and constant sunlight can be a little much.” While Rae inherited much from her father, she did not enjoy the heat or beating sun of the desert. She much preferred cooler, mild weather, beneath the tall trees of the shroud. So, while she wouldn’t particularly say she preferred rain or storms, she’d much rather tuck herself away in overly hot sunny days. And she is absolutely not a fan of the result of stormy weather - mud and muck, worms, too many ways to get dirty.
