What are you reading now?

Currently I'm reading Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake! On my study abroad program I studied fungus with a few other students and we got so into fungi that our TA recommended we check it out, and we decided to make a little reading group out of it. It's a great read so far (though a mycologist I spoke to said, and I quote "Merlin is... okay." (she did not hate on it as strongly as she did other books like Finding the Mother Tree or The Hidden Life of Trees)).

14. Favorite game?

Disco Elysium always and forever but some other current faves are: In Stars and Time, Pentiment, Slay the Princess, and Roadwarden.

21. What is something you have been meaning to try?

Skateboarding!! I've been getting really into the idea of learning how to skateboard so I can get around campus faster and not have to lock up a bike. Also there are so many pretty decks out there...

Like, if you want to write a tragedy have the guts to actually write a tragedy ! don’t give me this wishy-washy “oh no it’s so sad but actually everything is fine and dandy in the most superficial way possible” shit

Favourite thing about her : she’s so prickly ! so annoyed all the time ! so ready to take offense at everything ! I’m not being ironic it’s absolutely one of her best traits.

Least favourite thing about her : i mean there was this thing that happened at the end of season two... ok there are moments where the writters are going for “strong female character” and completely miss the mark and it’s annoying

Random Headcanon : actually thought of Allan as her best friend for half of season 2. Which is pretty sad, considering.

Unpopular Opinion : she has no chemistry with Guy ! none ! zero ! I could have shipped them if they had because it’s fiction and we’re here to have fun, but everytime he looks at her like she can singlehandedly make a good man out of him or whatever, she’s just like “hmmm... awkward... anyway,” Imagine thinking this is a viable side of a love triangle. couldn’t be me.
