Imagine you and the other young teen you’ve been on the run with for 2 years adopt this tiny 7 year old who’s in trouble like you are and you take her with you and y’all do everything you can to take care of her and one day a satyr comes in and is like “hey this is a very unstable situation and you’re all in danger and that danger is only going to get worse and this can’t be what you want for her(7 yo) and there’s a place that might be able to provide more stability and safety I can take you there” and your friend is like “absolutely not” and you don’t really want to go there either but you have this tiny child, this little girl who trusts you to take care of her and when she’s taken from you even for a short period of time you are willing to burn the world down to get her back and it isn’t about you and your friend anymore it’s about this little girl who you love like a little sister.
