I’d go to your mom first then and ask her not to tell your dad, at least not right away. The only other thing to do if he’s ignoring you is to not do anything.

Whenever I try he ignores me... I could try talking to my parents... but I don't know what would happen. My dad pretends to throw up whenever he sees 2 guys kissing... my mom is a bit more accepting though... I could try, but I really didn't want to go behind his back and betray his trust, ya know?
