this sounds like it would be extremely cool actually

but on the other hand, i’m honestly just so goddamn tickled by the mental image of the conquest characters being the only ones summoned who have any, like, Real War Experience. sure battling is good and gives you some strategic smarts but oh boy is it a different story when you put a knife in someone’s hands and tell them that they have to fight With their squirtle good luck kid
