Tomb Raider 3 - Thames Wharf (London):
“Well...time to go to the dark side of this game..aka the London levels. These levels are quite...challenging. They have a big focus on exploration, and trust me...you are going to get confused. This level isn’t as bad as I’ve remembered. If you pay attention, it can be quite linear, but there are times you can get lost. Overall, it was quite a good surprise to return to this level...but things are going to get bitter on the next one.”

Level Appreciation: Tomb Raider 3 - Thames Wharf:
“So I’ve been playing the Playstation version of Tomb Raider 3, which is defenily harder than the PC version. However, I feel like I’ve been doing a good job so far. For the longest time, I though the London levels were the worst part of this game, specially the first game. However, this level is growing on me a lot. I feel like there’s a lot of really nice ideas in here and they were executed quite nicely. This is still not my favorite level of the game but I defenily like it a lot now. It’s fun, dark and creative. Also, doing the shortcut where you skip 95% of the level is a waste of my time, because this level has some interesting areas to explore. Finally, that cutscene in the end has to be my favourite of the whole game. HILARIOUS.”

Turning the gamma option to 1 in Thames Wharf brings a pretty realistic lighting effect. Completely unplayable, but this is how an abanboned warehouse area of a big city would look like at night.
