Cecilia from Year 8 completed her artist sheet this week, researching Piet Mondrian and the De Stijl movement and discovering how his work impacted architecture as well. Here she explores how his paintings developed from his ‘cubist style’ paintings of trees, to the blocks of primary colours he is so well known for.
