mmm fisting somno 🥰
I think about Xeno smiling at Senku when Senku looks so troubled. I already made a post about that panel but god. I love the idea that Xeno will casually bring things up to Senku without realizing how much weight it has.
Xeno and Senku working and Senku does something, slightly clack his teeth when he makes a breakthrough, fiddles with his hair a certain way, and Xeno will mention that Byakuya used to do the same thing.
Xeno would point it out bc he’s fond of both ishigami’s and he thinks it would be nice for Senku to know that not all traces of Byakuya are solely in the hands of the villagers but that Senku himself holds a large part of his father.
Senku wouldn’t take it badly, but he would pause and then brush it off. Jokingly telling Xeno off for being too “emotional”, but it lingers with him. How much of Byakuya is left with Senku? How many mannerism does Senku have that are impressions of Byakuya? Senku doesn’t know and he refuses to think about this any longer. But when he finds himself playing with his hair or rubbing his ear, he feels the weight of Byakuya and he hesitates before shrugging it off.
one thing i will criticize about sleeping death is the pacing.
everything'll work out eventually
