than’s tenacity is the force that keeps him going. when puen said he needed to set the ball to a certain height for him to spike, than practiced every waking second; when than realised his fingers lacked strength and inch, he focused his training on his fingers; when he and puen realised they weren’t in sync, they practiced every night until they could know each other’s walk with eyes closed.
when puen had his meltdown, when that crippling moment crashed down on the team, when than realised he couldn’t function with the bed next to him empty, he found his way to puen. he faced what troubled him, head on, and sought solution.
he doesn’t run away.
