“Wait— do you have to go for the neck?”
Nam-gyu pauses, halfway to Thanos’ neck, before pulling back just enough to look him in the eyes, confusion pulling his face into a frown. “What?”
Thanos sighs, bringing a hand up to cover the side of his neck, protecting the spot that Nam-gyu was just about to sink his teeth into. “Listen, man, I’ve got a photoshoot tomorrow— my first real photoshoot, and I can’t show up with those fucking bruises you always leave on me.”
Nam-gyu’s frown deepens, though now it’s more from annoyance. “Can’t you wear makeup or something to cover them up?” he asks, his growing hunger making him impatient.
“I already do, and guess what— you can still always see them,” Thanos tells him, with a frustrated click of his tongue before he adds under his breath, “It’s already bad enough that my friends think I have a leech for a girlfriend because of it.”
Though Nam-gyu can’t exactly deny that he leaves Thanos’ neck a little… black and blue whenever he feeds, it’s not like that’s something he can control. And anyways, Nam-gyu has already given him a solution; Thanos is the one who ignores his advice whenever Nam-gyu tells him that he could be taking advantage of the winter weather and wearing turtlenecks to cover his neck up. Nam-gyu swears that Thanos almost likes showing off the bruises on his neck…
“Thanos, I haven’t eaten in days,” Nam-gyu says, forcing himself to look away from the curve of Thanos’ neck, but even when he does, he can still hear the beat of the other man’s heart, each pulse of rushing blood bringing Nam-gyu closer to temptation. “I let you push it off this week because of all the other shit you’ve had going on, but… if I don’t eat right now I think I’m gonna—”
“Woah, Nam-su, I’m not saying you can’t eat,” Thanos interrupts, raising his hands up in front of himself almost defensively. “It’s just… look— I’ve got blood all up in my whole body. So, can’t you, like… take it from somewhere else?”
“I mean, I can, but… I bite your neck for a reason, you know,” he says through a sigh. He raises his arm, brushing a finger along Thanos’ throat, pressing lightly until he can feel Thanos’ pulse under his finger. “The veins here have a good blood supply, and it’s accessible. Makes it easy to get what I need.”
With his hand still tracing the spot he’s bitten into countless times, Nam-gyu feels the movement of Thanos swallowing, and the vibration of his voice underneath his fingertips as Thanos asks, “Well, there’s gotta be other veins that do the same job, right?”
Nam-gyu’s been out of school for too long to remember anything he learned back in science class about the human body, but he tries to think about everything he’s seen at Club Pentagon, everything he’s learned from watching the other members of his pack. “I guess,” he says, wracking his brain. “I mean… I could probably get a good feed from your wrist, but—”
“No.”
Thanos’ response is so quick, so sudden, and his tone so… serious, that it catches Nam-gyu off-guard, shocking him into silence for a second. It seems as though that answer perhaps came involuntarily from Thanos, as well, judging from the way he quickly gives his head a little shake, the way his face flushes a little pink, and the way there is a new nervous hesitance in his voice when he speaks again, almost like he’s trying to correct himself. “Uh, I mean— no,” he says, and puts on a slight smile that Nam-gyu can tell is forced. “Not there. My outfit for the photoshoot, you’ll probably still be able to see the bruises if they’re on my wrist, you know?”
Nam-gyu doesn’t think that that’s entirely the true reason behind Thanos’ sudden refusal, but he doesn’t push further. It strikes him as a little odd, but… Nam-gyu’s own hunger takes priority in this moment. Maybe he’ll ask Thanos about it later, but now, his only focus is finding a place to feed that Thanos will agree on.
He thinks again, and though it’s a little hard for his blood-deprived brain to focus, it’s only a moment longer before he gets an idea. “Are you going to be wearing pants for your photoshoot tomorrow?”
“What?” Thanos says, his expression pulling into a frown. “Dude, it’s not that kind of photoshoot. Of course I’m gonna be wearing pants.”
“Good,” Nam-gyu says. “Because the next best place would be your leg. Your thigh, actually.”
Thanos takes a minute to think about it— Nam-gyu can practically see the gears turning in his head as he processes Nam-gyu’s words, and perhaps as he tries to… imagine exactly what Nam-gyu means, from the light pink flush across his face when he finally gives a nod of his head and says, “Fine. But make it quick.”
Relief washes over Nam-gyu, and he lets out a short, grateful sigh at the confirmation that he won’t have to suffer until tomorrow to eat. “You first,” he says, giving a small gesture to the pants still covering Thanos’ legs— to the one thing still standing between himself and his dinner.
Nam-gyu scoots backwards on the couch, giving Thanos the space to stand up. He looks away as Thanos begins to unbuckle his belt, as though to give him some semblance of privacy as he undresses… until he feels the weight of Thanos beside him on the couch again, now in just his boxers.
“Hurry up, Nam-su. It’s fucking cold,” Thanos says as he leans back against the couch, crossing his arms over his chest… but when Nam-gyu slides off the couch and gets on his knees between Thanos’ legs, he can’t help but notice the warmth of the other man’s skin.
Nam-gyu runs his hand along Thanos’ inner thigh, his careful fingers feeling for the best place to sink his teeth into. He presses his thumb against the soft skin, but feels Thanos tense up in response. “Relax,” Nam-gyu tells him, glancing up at him as he softens his own grip around Thanos’ leg. “It’ll hurt if you’re all tense like this, remember?”
Thanos grumbles something in response, his eyes looking anywhere except for Nam-gyu on the ground in front of him… and Nam-gyu can’t help it as a slight grin makes its way to his face.
“Seriously, hyung,” he says, as his fangs slide out past his lips. “You’re acting like you’ve never had a guy between your legs before.”
At that, Thanos finally looks down at him, and Nam-gyu wonders if there will even be any blood left in Thanos’ leg for him to drink, judging by the flush of red blooming across Thanos’ face. “Just shut up and eat,” Thanos tells him, and Nam-gyu lets out a soft giggle before lowering his head and taking Thanos’ flesh into his mouth.
