Dude, I remember when you were on your first Jake Sully request, seeing your beautiful masterlist full of writing made me so nostalgic and happy!
Awww. Thank you so much for sharing this with me! I have gotten so many more great requests since then!!
It has certainly been a fun and crazy 7 months of (consistent) fic writing. If only January June could see me now! I'm so surprised and happy that people engaged with my silly account at all, especially those of you who stuck around!
Thank you again for the ask!! (My inbox has been dryyyyy recently)
hiii number 2 and 19 for the book asks :]
2. top 5 books of all time?
- already answered:)
19. most disliked popular books?
- IQ84, Haruki Murakami (self explanatory)
- Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, Olga Tokarczuk (white lady with dreads should’ve known)
- If on a winter's night a traveler, Italo Calvino ( it was trying to hard to be mysterious to me)
seeing an intriguing fic of ryanaim on ao3 AND it’s written in ryans pov
top 4 letterboxd

I JUST got this post on my dash too
what movies/media have you seen recently that you liked??
oh I just watched A Snake of June last night and I think I'm officially obsessed with this movie, added it in my list of faves on letterboxd and all haha. I finally finished natural born killers which I also really enjoyed, although remembering that the story was written by Tarantino is a jumpscare haha. But I really loved how it mixed in different type of medias as well, how we switch between different color schemes too. As someone who was obsessed with true crime as a teen (and I was on that side of tumblr), a lot of it rang especially true down to the speech given at some point of the movie. It's like yeah I would have eaten that up as a teen. I also saw machine girl shyness not too long ago with a friend, it's meant to only be an extra on the DVD for machine girl but what can I say, absolute cinema haha. It's goofy and wacky and it was fun to watch. I'm also still obsessed with the isle by Kim Ki Duk, although I don't think I'll be watching anything else by him having learned of all the stuff he was accused of after watching The Isle and Bad Guy.
I've been showing (and thus re watching) some movies I really love to my gf so it's been fun as well. And we've been getting into Utena, I had only watched a few episodes so far so that's been nice too
