❓- Opinions on Merric? Honest thoughts about him?
“I-I think he’s- Gods, did we not just- just have this conversation?” The small bit of exasperation that leaks through his voice is telling.
“Merric- Merric is one of my most trusted allies and my closest friend,” He huffs, grabbing his cape and twisting the end in both hands. “He’s- He’s a wonderful, wonderful person and I can’t stress enough how blessed I am to have him by my side.”
“That- That’s it, though!” He stammers, releasing his cape and wringing his hands together. “Nothing- Nothing more than that! He’s- He’s just a friend and you would- you would do well to learn to- to learn to just- hhh- to learn to! Respect! People’s! Privacy!!”
