I love that the boys roast each other but know when to stop, like Steven and Ryan teasing Shane for the repression but also being like “oh hey you know who should go to therapy?”, or Shane roasting Ryan for believing in aliens but not letting anyone else do it, or Steven/Ryan battling it out but also talking about stigma, I love soft boys who have boundaries despite all their people pleasing

Sometimes I'm honestly so amazed by how well they know each other. Intrinsically, deeply, fully know each other. Healthy relationships (of all kinds) have this sort of push and pull. Be competitive, but be supportive. Tease, but be kind. Know the lines, know what they mean when they say something. I think some people lose this precious connection in the banter and jokes. Honestly, the Watcher boys are incredible examples of wholesome masculinity and healthy male friendships.

These are their people, and I don't think they want it any other way.
