How to Handle a Nico has its very own fanfic!
Words honestly fail to express how excited I am at this concept. And honored. And humbled. And... a bunch of other stuff. To think that not only have I inspired another writer, but that I’ve inspired them directly to write about stuff I’ve written. I’m honestly not sure what all to say; it’s just that awesome.
And I’ve been in contact with the author and it has been mentioned that this is but a taste of more to come. So I’ll get to read more NicoMaki stuff! I can’t wait!

“The Keeper of the Keys”
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Chapter 4
Summary: Hagrid, a giant of a man, comes tot he hut in the sea to tell Harry, after some struggle with the Dursleys, that he’s a wizard. Harry is finally able to read his letter, he is accepted to Hogwarts, school for witchcraft and wizardry.
Best sentance: “Yeh look a lot like yer dad, but yeh’ve got yer mum’s eyes.” The first time anyone ever said this to Harry, I’m not crying, you’re crying.
Darling of the chapter: Hargid. I bet he volunteered to go get Harry and he did so well, I’m so proud =)
Favourite moment: Hagrid telling Harry about the rise and fall of Voldemort. He didn’t expect to have to do this and his story is so emotional, tells Harry everything important and is vague enough tob e misterious and allow Harry to piece the story together during his journey.
Could have been left out: Petunias rant about her sister makes me very uncomfortable and also Vernons declarartion that they wanted to stomp the magic out of Harry.
Additional thoughts: Extension charms on Hagrids pockets? In the movies Hagrid mistakes Dudley for Harry. He knew him as a child, how would he not recognise him? Don’t you think Hagrid just straight up punching Vernon would have been more satisfying?
