As much as I love the theory that every Light Side, has a Dark Side, I don't believe in it simply because that would imply that Light Sides actually exist.

But before you all start screaming let me ask you one question: does the term "light side" appear even once in the original series? No. And do you know why? Because the golden quatro knows better than anyone else that they do have the same mixture of darkness and light in themselves.

And perhaps, that is why they are 4 main cores of Thomas' personality.

Maybe it's not about side being good or evil. Maybe it's about the side accepting they are both good and bad. And maybe Roman used the term "Dark Sides" to refer to the sides that still "don't see the whole picture"?

Because let's take Virgil who famously used to be the "dark side". The major change, the moment when he "stopped being dark side" was when he was showed the whole picture. When the others explained that he also does good stuff. When he understood that he is a mixture of light and darkness.

So what about the Light Sides, you may ask. As I mentioned they don't exist. The only sides that exist are those in denial (Dark Sides) and those who accepted their nature (Grey Sides if you really do want to label them)
