Oh 2019, you really tried me! You started off fun and full of adventure, though still a bit rough. You blessed me beyond disbelief and Then shook me to the core. You shed a little light, then almost broke me. You ignited a flame, then shot me down. You let me believe I was on a great path and then completely erased it. I felt lost but in that, I found another piece of myself. • This year was HARD, harder than I expected and harder that I prepared for. But it was good because I learned. I learned that I underestimate myself, to avoid regret. I procrastinate to avoid overthinking. I make short goals to avoid my own deceit. Most importantly, I learned that I get in my OWN way to avoid disappointment. I am my own worse motivator. • The only person who has control over my thoughts, actions, and beliefs, is ME. So thank you for the Trials and Tribulations, for the immense amount of Laughs & Happiness and for all the amazing Lessons. • I would be lying if I said I was ready for 2020, but I’ll tell you this.
