Ayer cumplió 2 meses que se me fue Buelo y todavía no encuentro alivio ni palabras para expresar como me siento. En mi alma se siente un vacío y una tristeza que no puedo explicar. Siempre han dicho que hay que darle tiempo al tiempo pero eso nunca me consuela. Al contrario se siente peor. Siento que lo extraño todos los días un poco más. Let the semester commence... I can already tell is going to be a good but intense one. So why is it that every time you see family or friends, they always feel the need to ask the same questions...” when you getting married? You plan on having kids? Y’all been together how long?! Blah blah blah... I used to get so annoyed and sometimes even felt guilty because I thought I was doing something wrong. Then I realized, my relationship, our choices and decisions aren’t anyone’s to make but Ours. Family and friends play a big role in our lives, but don’t let their beliefs, opinions, and passive judgements make you question yourself, your relationships and/or your goals. Whatever choices or decisions you make in your life and your relationships do not need to be explained, they are YOURS. You are the sole driver of your life and if your choices are different than the norm, it is your choice to decide whether you want to explain it or not. Society has a way of making us feel guilty or pressured for being different, but there is no guilt in having your own beliefs or choices & they sure do not need to align with anyone else but YOU. Hello there Lover: Life is kicking my ass but I am pushing through. I am almost there, my first placement ends next month and then to find a second year focused placement but atleast I get a break.
