So I was reading Clues by ThanksIllPass (@merycula) and it such a cliffhanger ending I just had to make up a head cannon about how it finished - yeah I makeup head cannons about fan fiction, don’t judge me (spoilers-ish for the story)

Everything really is a dream, but all the people on the bus real, and Wade's locked up in an institute type thing and Peter works there/is a volunteer or something and visits Wade everyday, and talks to him during his episodes and everything and tells him about his friends and people from work - that's how everyone else ended up on the 'bus' - and they work out ways for Wade to tell if it's a dream so he doesn't accidentally kill anyone (again -  there was The Incident when Wade was about 16 before he was diagnosed and his dad came home drunk, but instead of being in an absolute rage and beating Wade about like he usually did he sat with him and tried/failed at helping him with his maths homework in the kitchen and asked him about his day and stuff, and he couldn’t deal with the pain of the ‘dream’, because his real dad would never be that nice or actually care about him and his own mind was taunting him with all the things he could never have and he just really campy stabbed him with a kitchen knife and went to bed. The next morning he woke up, expecting his dad to be passed out in the living room surrounded by empty beer bottles, so he sneaks into the kitchen for breakfast, trying not to wake him, but he sees him slumped over the kitchen table, so he grabs some toast, but then he hears this weird dripping noise coming from him and its the blood thats pooled around his dad, dripping out of his chest).

Anyway, Wade and Peter end up really liking each other but Peter refuses to act on anything because he works there and that's so against the rules you don't even know, but just knowing this gives Wade a reason to want to actually live instead of just surviving, even if he thinks he doesn't deserve Peter, especially after everything he's done, and slowly he becomes more stable and he'll willingly takes his meds and finally finally he's allowed to live in the outside world, and he ends up staying with Peter - totally only because he knows how to handle Wade and he's had training and stuff - and then after even more time they end up together and of course not everything's perfect because all relationships take effort, even when you've not been through as much shit as they have, but they make work and they end up with their own weird happily ever after where they have Taco Tuesday's twice a week and forget to sleep properly because they're having video games championships - because Wade might totally rule at Street Fighter but Peter can kick anyone's ass at Mario Kart even one Rainbow Road - and fight over stupid little things, like who forgot to water the line surviving pot plant and who didn't shut the window after the neighbour's cat shit on the kitchen table.
