I-IM SO CONFUSED WHAT GOING ON WITH SPOTIFY

aight so basically:

kakao m is a distribution company who has a streaming service, melon, that is basically the biggest company (??) in south korea’s music and streaming industry. a lot of groups are under them and have their music distributed by them. so basically kakao m can decide where the music is played and what platform it is on.

apple music first launched in south korea and kakao m didn’t like that so they said that the music under them can’t be played in apple music in south korea but can be played everywhere else in the world. apple music said okay and took it.

spotify on the other hand.... spotify launched in south korea and once again, kakao m didn’t like that. they could have done the same thing that they did with apple music but there is a catch. spotify can be accessed from anywhere in the world as long as you know how to use a vpn. so with this, koreans can access spotify us or spotify in another country. this also means that even if the songs distributed from kakao m are off spotify korea, koreans can easily use a vpn and access it on another country’s spotify. because of this and the fact that spotify costs no money and has benefits, kakao m decided to block the songs distributed by them on spotify worldwide so they don’t lose users in korea and their hold in the music industry doesn’t go flop. in the process, they pissed off the whole international kpop fanbase and a lot of artists who i’m assuming did not even know of this. as of right now, spotify and kakao m haven’t resolved their issue.

Medic!Lance at the beginning: Stressed, in over his head, trying to figure everything out and take care of everyone, trying to make it seem like it’s all fine and he’s not stressed so he can be there for everyone else, faking it until he is making it, doing all the Voltron training stuff, learning Altean and Altean medical equipment at night, barely sleeping, praying no one gets hurt too bad where he has to do any type of surgery, missing his family, constantly internally screaming, and panicking a little.

Medic!Lance after everything: Use to handling everything on his own, thankful for help, confident with his knowledge, Father of Space and Alien Medicine, constantly learning everything he can, rough and terrifying to interns but in a good way because it helps them handle pressure, usually sleeps a normal amount, kind of a hardass about stuff, runs the whole Atlas Medical Bay efficiently, happy and in a loving relationship with Shiro, will shoot or fight someone if needed, is a fun loving guy, and has two cats.
