Truthful Tuesday.
Thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes this weekend. A special shout out to a friend who sent me a new "Dark Knight Rises" action figure and a wonderful Batman card. That was beyond nice of you. Thank you again for thinking of me. And thanks for the text Dave, it's always good to hear from you.
Saturday was also my best friend's birthday as well. He turned 39 and everyone on the party bus was shocked because he looks younger then I do. He became a legend that day by shattering the windshield of the party bus with his bare ass while mooning the other bus. People were toasting to him everywhere we went. To be honest I spent most of the time on the bus wishing that this is the last birthday I have to spend alone. I was wishing someone out there in the world was buying her ticket to Farhampton. I'm glad he had fun though, that's what I wanted for him. He did get me another bad ass star wars shirt though. "Who's the Bossk?" Yeah buddy. Anyway, I had a pretty low key birthday. I even took the dog for a walk around midnight just so we could reflect on the day.
The Precious has started a nasty rumor that she is coming to Wichita this weekend.
That tornado that the storm produced on Sunday was the closest one has got to me since I was probably 17, maybe 18. I did not turn on the news yesterday. This morning at work was the first time I have seen the destruction of what happened in Oklahoma. I dated a girl back in 1999 whose neighborhood was destroyed by a twister here in wichita. Having seen what they can do first hand I can tell you it looks like what I imagine World War II Germany to look like. It's also very eerie and quiet. We have a couple accounts in Moore, OK, I hope someone has checked on them.
I've been writing a lot. I'm seriously beginning to consider taking my mother up on her offer. This would be an excellent opportunity.
