I genuinely believe she enjoys fabric. From what I've read so far, she does love rare and interesting things, fabric being among them since there's an emphasis on the clothes she wears and the linen on her bed. Feeling cold aside and not relating to society's weird relationship with clothes, I truly do feel Lilith comes to enjoy stacking all sorts of fabric on her body because the texture feels nice. She wears fabric that covers her not out of modesty or just out of practicality, but because it's a sensory invention.
