I promised you guys last week - so here's the news for those of you who don't know. @slow.jams aka @sj.the.doll got discovered. I shot her last year and it's been all love since then. We got to hang out on Sunday with some good food and vibes for a minute. And just like that, she's outta here. You may see her soon on #OWN or @oprah's network as she is heading out of town to meet for casting in the show "Queen Sugar". Someone asked me today when I told them - you plan to gain anything from what she does out there? No. I remember a scared little 19 year old boy leaving home for the first time, not knowing what was to become of himself. LOL SJ even said she's excited and scared at the same time, which I understand. But it's these moments that make my work worth every bit of strain, grind, and struggle.
