#i take tarot cards for their upright and reversed position in a way that. i dunno. feels right#the magician is typically a card for someone who has all they need within them and at the ready yknow?#someone who is is able to use their resources wisely to bring things to realization#and then someone who is... struggling for that progress#more so than the literal magic translation of thatch's speech impediment and magic it's.#they're at an impasse with their life where so many things feel like they're on the brink and under their control but it still just sort of#stagnates. stops. resources squandered#idk#but also literally they're a magician with all this power and WHOOPS no access to it#anyway i DID go overboard with this but i had a LOT of fun as well???#i didn't even include any tar! :)#thatch my beloved...#implausible deniability
