Kanaya blinked, trying to focus on where the words were coming from. Wally’s voice echoed around in her head as the world spun around her. “Wh…wha..” she groaned, unable to organize her thoughts enough to speak.

She felt cold, oh so very cold, and the pounding of her heart was almost painfully slow. Her chest was heavy, and her lungs stung from the air that rushed in and out. It was difficult to keep her eyelids open, as a black fog blurred her vision and some, unknown force kept urging her to sleep.
