I was happy with the result. But like you, I wish the judges would have made the critiques of their portfolios and their walks more balanced for both of them. It's weird that Mame seemed to like she was running away with the win and then they "randomly" chose Nyle out of the blue (it wasn't random at all and it made sense). But congrats to both of the finalists. They both did a great job this season. It was a great note for the show to go out on.

I agree that his win wasn’t random and had been fairly hinted at throughout the cycle, but they literally gave no reason for him to win over her so in a way it was a bit random. And yes, this was a good note for the show to end with.

I knew lacey was a bit cocky and overconfident but good grief they really just let all the crap that she said go unfiltered this week. It was super annoying. Also, I also agree that it should be a an all girl finale based on performances. But Tyra seems like she wants to eliminate any shot that someone may have at beating lacey. Meaning Mame has to suffer (I still feel like is the only one of the remaining contestants with the ability to dethrone her)

Lol, I know! It was so jarring because the editors basically ignored her all cycle outside of panel, and now the entire episode was basically about her. And I agree, I think Mamé is the only contestant with a shot of winning against Lacey if we’re doing a traditional ANTM portfolio review. However, if we’re following the C19-21 format of compiled scores, Nyle is Lacey’s biggest competition. The judges didn’t really give Mamé good scores and they gave Nyle really high scores throughout the cycle.

YES! My fave finally got TMOTW! I'm sad that she more than likely won't win the cycle but at least she has this lol.

Do you think the Lacey-Nyle favoritism is going to translate into them being the top 2 with Lacey winning? That's what I've been getting for a few weeks now and it kinda sucks that no one else has really been given a chance when the others are just as capable of winning. Those two aren't Jourdan or Lenox to the rest of the models so it really boggles my mind. PS I fee like Justin would have rocked this video shoot. I wish he was able to stay one more week.

I’d actually say Lacey’s getting the runner-up edit, but yeah, it’s starting to look like they might be the final 2. It’s obvious the judges love those two, and even when they falter, they can do no wrong in their eyes. Plus, the random shots of Nyle side-eyeing Lacey’s praise in panel every week makes me think they’re hardcore trying to pitch us a Nyle/Lacey rivalry for final 2.

And yes, Justin probably would have done well this week.

Everyone did well in this photoshoot. I almost wish that everyone could come back and/or stay (impossible I know but I was super impressed). Personally though, I would have put Mikey in the bottom 2 and eliminated him just because I don't see much growth from him. Whereas I've seen some from both Devin (though I still don't think he's very versatile) and Justin. Also, I really wanted Hadassah to get first call out. She really blew me away this week.

I agree. Pretty much everyone did well, so the choice for comeback was tough. I wouldn’t put Mikey for delivering the same thing, simply because literally all of the guys are doing that this cycle. I also agree about Devin’s growth, despite his lack of versatility so far. I looked at his past photos this morning and was shocked by how much better his photos are now.

That's the one drawback of this show. The fans tend to pick one or two models and completely worship them and act like everything they do is so perfect while either forgetting about or totally sh*tting on everyone else that isn't their fave. The poll has really highlighted that this season

I agree. On some level I knew that’s how people operated with this show, but the poll has definitely made it very blatant.

Stefano's makeover looked like Kate Gosselin hair before the reality show checks started rolling in. And they really screwed over Ava with that mullet. They screwed her over big time. I personally hate Lacey's makeover too. But it might grow on me. I did think most of the others were pretty good though.

They made Stefano into Kate Gosselin and Ava into Billy Ray Cyrus…I don’t understand.

Lacey’s makeover grew on me, so it may be that way for you too. I hated it when I saw it before the cycle started, but now I think it frames her face in a ore fashionable way. It makes her look less girl-next-door.

The others were pretty much fine.
