That sounds like a fun read, tbh.
it really is! there’s a section on usual turn of phrases and syntaxt, and that one isn’t that interesting, but there’s a section of just. writing qualities, what makes good writing in a language doesn’t always work in another, etc. It’s literally comparing how two different cultures express themselves! of course it’s useful as a translator but also as a writer! I’d used that book a lot as an undergrad but it’s my first time reading it cover to cover.
