I use Lospec to upscale pixel art by the way pretty handy!

Here's some really early WIPS of the final animation originally it wasn't gonna even have the fade effect, but I figured people would probably prefer a clean loop!

I am legitimately so sorry for the tag overload, but I got all 4 of these puppies finished earlier though I started work on all of em real early 1 day ago plus they aren't really animated frame by frame more like moving chunks around.

Regardless enjoy these profile pics gamers.

Pstttt I also put them all together in their original resolutions cause idk looks kinda like a fighting game select menu.

Rosemary wedding <3

It was gonna be a full recreation of their wedding, but I soon noticed 128 by 128 was way too small to get all the details I wanted(Should've made it in 256 by 128 probably as the original isn't in a square frame)

Regardless here is just Rose, and Kanaya at their wedding. Makes me a bit sad cause seeing Roxy and John/June at the wedding is so wholesome to me.

Curious about how some effects were pulled off?

Howdy! So I figured I could share some neat tricks I figured out with Krita while making this! as well as how I did some of these effects!

So see in this version I turned off the layer styles which in Krita is essentially layer modifiers.I still think it looks just fine without em but still! This version is also in it's original resolution 256 by 256 and not upscaled using the Lospec pixel art upscale tool 4x!

For the illusion of depth in the grout I had used the perspective tool to get the right angles, followed that with the line tool, applied a drop shadow with these settings with a really low 2px for the size that way its a tiny bit of light antialiasing to really sell that look!

As for the actual floor layer I simply used a pattern overlay at a small scale setting and lowered the opacity alot.

Now here's a interesting one using a relatively high noise level led to really defined "pixel light" effect but if we lower it to 0

Ignore the stray pixel lol but see now it's not pixely at all!
