this came into my mind lately.
I re watched the second to last episode of sonic x, and that scene when tails the fox just sobs not wanting to shoot a talking living plant that he is in love with, and this had me thinking: I can imagine Donnie falling in love with an intergalactic mutant space princess, she transforms into a full-grown adult automatically during the final showdown, (because ya know. only intergalactic species that live in space can do that.), links to the main villain giving the turtles time to shoot directly at them with a powerful cannon to save everyone. but poor Donnie refusing to shoot the love of his life despite all the science research and good times he has spent with her, he bawls out in tears wishing there was another way to keep her alive. Donnie would talk to her one last time telling her that she was never a burden to him despite of them slowing down from being tracked down multiple times by the bad guys, and he was truly happy being with her confessing his unconditional love for her. shouting out his love’s name as the missile hits the target killing them instantly and everyone sobbing, and surprisingly Raph. Just imagine that. replacing the sonic characters with the TMNT bayverse characters in it. I would cry my damn my eyes out.
