I have a theory that Susie has Pica since she eats chalk,what do you think about that?

i think mostly she’s just... hungry. she notes she didn’t have breakfast and seems to be maybe coming out of a situation where there’s, uh, not much support going on at home. kids who are struggling w getting enough nutrition can sometimes go after chalk, apparently

i’m not sure if pica-w-a-cause-like-that is considered the same thing as regular pica, im not like a psychologist or anything, but i think a better-fed susie would probably not eat as much chalk (although she might still snack on it because of the cronch)

meanwhile, moss-eater kris is a different story

Yeeeears n years ago my older brother went to a Renaissance faire (at least, i think it was a ren faire) and I got a plastic flower crown. It had tiny light pink and purple synthetic flowers all around it and it had pink, purple, and white ribbons hanging off the back. Haven’t seen it in a long time though, i was one of those tweens who aggressively rejected everything vaguely feminine and i know I didn’t throw it out but it’s not in my room anymore. It’s probably in the basement, and I’m incredibly salty that I’ve lost the only flower crown I’ve ever had >8(

i’ll find it someday and y’all will know because i’ll post a dumb over-filtered selfie with a caption like LOOK WHAT I FOOOOOUND on it because i love flower crowns and i’ve had all my icons here wear flower crowns for literal y e a r s. what kind of person would i be if i didn’t.
