Me: hey wanna gossip?
You: omg yes!
Me: *completely forgets to respond for a week*
Anyway the OC in question came to be while I was recovering from the implications of powers in Worm*. Specifically: if powers are based on your personality (and traumata), what happens if you have multiple of them? Introducing, the system - they all have the same concept guiding their power (aka 'the same shard in their brain'), but each of the alters got a completely different type of power from it (a master, a striker/shaker, and a thinker/tinker) depending on their role in the system (functioning around people, emotional and physical balance, and getting them out of shit). Imma probably have to elaborate more on that, but I wanted to at least get this out before I go to bed and forget to write again :'D I could forward you the preliminary notes I had written out in my dnd notes if you're interested
\* I came up with this before I got around to reading Ward, which is important because clusters and case 70's (cases 70?) would have implications on how this would work out in practice. In either case, I found the question interesting because I knew wildbo wouldn't dare touch on the subject, so I had to do everything myself . . .
i mean i've done the same. anyway yayy system powers! i saw someone do this with taylor and it was so cool but omgg. i've been thinkin a bit abt this but i've never had the energy to even try setting it up,, PLEASE send me the prelim notes.
this might be in the notes but is there some sort of common theme with the powers or are they totally disjointed?
also, note from the asker:
P.S. regarding my previous ask: technically, the striker/shaker is more of a striker/master, but shaker makes more sense contextually
