The last thing Ryouma Nagare remembered was the explosion from the nuclear missile over the Saotome Research Institute...Had Shin Getter-2 failed to catch it? That’s what his last memory seemed to suggest...Damn it! Those dirty Invaders had gotten their way, after all...
That said, though...He should be dead by that logic, shouldn’t he? He shouldn’t be stumbling through an alleyway like some drunken idiot. By all means, Ryouma should’ve died in that nuclear explosion...Yet, he hadn’t. He’d reappeared in, from what he could guess...Tokyo, the capital of Japan. He wasn’t entirely sure what ward he was in, honestly, but...
It seemed different, still. Almost like it was peaceful, and not like what he could recall of the location he’d retrieved Getter-1 from...Well, whatever. He’d just look for answers while he tried to figure out what he needed to do next. And, in order to conceal his identity, Ryouma wrapped his face in a portion of the scarf he wore. He left his eyes uncovered, since he wouldn’t be able to see otherwise, but he didn’t have any more time to waste.
He needed answers, and he’d be damned if he didn’t go look for them.
(”...Alright, let’s go find me some answers. I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ll be damned if I don’t do anything to find out.”) Ryouma thought, before stumbling out of the alleyway to begin his search for answers...
A few hours have passed since Ryouma began his search, and his travels have only brought more questions...And no answers to go with them. Not only that, but the fact that he hadn’t eaten since before he launched in Getter-1 was getting to him...So, he barged into the closest establishment, before slumping into the opened door and uncovering his face before calling into the establishment with a yell.
“Ngh...Damn, I’m really feeling my hunger right about now...Hey, anyone here?!” Thankfully, he was able to remain conscious, but Ryouma was completely clueless to the chain of events that his arrival to the Secret Base Cafe would kick off...And, to the events that awaited him in his future. But, the latter is a tale for another day. Now, we focus on the events he’d just kickstarted.
