Ultimately, I had too many blogs and was bouncing too much.

So I collapsed them into one blog

(Changing my mind)

(I’m in the process of collapsing a bunch of my other RP blogs into a single megamuse. I was considering leaving Angela as one of the two single-muse blogs I have, but between being followed by porn blogs every other day and still having traces on here of toxic former partners... It’s probably safest for Angela to be shipped over to the megamuse as well.

If you want the new blog, DM me, or if you have me on discord, ask for it there. I do still want to RP with Angela, and get her fifteen Eyecons so she can become solid again. October will be her last month on this blog. It’s oddly ironic that Halloween, the day when her adventure began, is also the day she’s making a big move.)

Low Spirits (ofcosmicstardust)

Angela’s just come off thirteen hours of hunting, and wants to rest, cuddled up next to her loving girlfriend. But a hunt that long requires recharging her Spirit Siphon, and that means spending another four hours in the lab, making sure nothing really dangerous escapes containment while she’s recharging. Even over the sound of all the machines in the lab, the all too human whine of a grumpy and depressed ghostbuster carries up the stairs into the rest of the first floor.

The screwdriver in her hand drops to the ground, the clatter jolting her back to the land of the awake which she had so briefly left. No, falling asleep while recharging is super bad. She can’t do that.  So she reaches for her big mug of coffee, only to find it being handed to her by someone who cares a lot about her.

Angela looks at them for a moment, her mind split between offering a simple thank you and a more complicated apology for not checking in. But somewhere in there, words get lost, and Angela Zeddemore, proud ghostbuster and Kamen Rider, breaks down crying.

(Character Growth Time)

(I’ve had Angela since near the end of Kamen Rider Ghost, and in that time, she’s only gained Nine Eyecons.

I obviously want my girl to become solid again, and I’m sure Angela’s girlfriend, her girlfriend’s best friend, Angela’s best friends, family, and trash cat want that for her too.

So, now that Zero-One is done, I’m going to be giving Aruto a bit of a rest so I can focus on getting Angela to fifteen Eyecons and her wish.

On the list of Eyecons I want her to get are:

Yasuke, the legendary samurai

Marie Curie

King Solomon(?)

Some legendary musician

Yuri Gagarin(?)

And the last eyecon is one that’s linked to her own lore. The Eyecon for John Horace Tobin, who wrote Tobin’s Spirit Guide. This last one will form the basis for her version of Grateful Form, Tobin Form, which will springboard her into collecting Eyecons of gods to fight against things from outside all currently known planes of reality.

Angela slumps down into her chair as the two young ladies leave the Ghostbusters building. She’s never seen two teenagers who were so excited in both science and superheroic activities. She answered questions as best as she could, but they just had so much more energy than her.

She writes their names on an index card. “I don’t think I’ll be able to handle another meeting with Hikaru Hoshina and Yurei Tsuruhime at the same time. They were great, but together, they’re dangerous.”

Thankfully, they had kept their hands to themselves but still, she’s going to need time to detox.

“Whew...” She looks up. “Oh, can I help you?”

Angela grins. “Well, I hope you don’t think a particle physicist working for the Paranomal Contracts Oversight Commission is a chump. Because I’ve got a case for you ladies.”

She lays out a few folders with pictures inside them. “In the past three months, I’ve been finding hauntings in places that have previously been cleared. We’re talking a Ghostbuster, a Catholic Priest, a Rabbi, and a Shinto Priest exorcising every ghost in the place, and now those places are hot spots for cold spots, if yu get my meaning.”

“Hm. What’s the nature of the hauntings? Because an exorcism might not actually be your best option. Let me just…” Clacking at the keyboard behind the desk, and Anabel plucked a card out of the printer and handed it to Angela.

“This is the contact information for Molly, our ghost expert in Savannah, Georgia. She’s a negotiator with the dead - a genuine ghost-seer, it’s actually really weird. Just… do yourself a favor and shake her hand when you introduce yourself, she can’t tell the difference between the living and the dead otherwise.”

“The initial hauntings are just poltergeist activity. Books being flung everywhere, lights flickering on and off, objects being moved from the kitchen to the bathroom. After we purged the area, the new ghost activity includes weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth and the walls leaking a thick black substance that smells like molten rubber, but feels like soap.” Angela looks over the card. “Wow, I haven’t met a good ectomancer since the Daitenkuu Temple. Unfortunately, I think even Molly would have trouble telling if I’m alive or dead.”

“We’re called the Bad Habits. We investigate cases that the regular authorities aren’t qualified for, on account of-”

“Cops are chumps!”

“-Thank you, Saige, but I was going to say that we have experience with the paranatural and extraterrestrial that regular authority figures don’t. … And cops are chumps, but that’s off the record. How can we help you today?”

Angela’s professional interests remain the same. From the time she was eleven, she knew she wanted to go into the family business. She wanted to be a Ghostbuster. She knuckled down through school, excelling in the maths and scientific disciplines until she went to SFIT, graduating with a degree majoring in particle physics and minoring in cryptozoology.

Her romantic interests shifted heavily. During her youth and adulthood, she had a series of terrible exes, and the only one of her exes that’s she still on friendly terms with is Ikura. It took a few years, but Angela realized any attraction she has to men is purely physical, and it’s the relationships with women that lasted the longest.

“You know…I’ve never checked.” Angela admits sheepishly. She looks around and makes sure nobody is looking, and summons her Banshee Driver. Rather than putting any Eyecons in, she runs her hand over the clamshell eye socket, checking every single part. Finally she locates a simple switch on the side and clicks it into place.

She’s never used that switch before, but as she calls her Banshee Eyecon to her hand and presses down, the Eyecon flashes briefly but no sound comes from it or the Driver. She tests it a few more times before realizing that she’s found it.

“Oh wow…” Angela sends her Driver back to its pocket dimension and immediately takes out her phone. “I didn’t even realize that was a possibility. Thanks for making me think of it, Tsubasa! I’ve got to tell the others!”

“I’m glad!” Tsubasa cheered. She didn’t know if any other Rider Drivers had such a convenient switch, but she hoped she would be able to be near them while they transformed without causing any noise-related distress.

Maybe this would make Riders better at being stealthy too?

“So… do you have any other questions for me? Or is that all for today?” she asked, realizing it was an abrupt change of subject but still not thinking through things hard enough to hold her tongue.

“I think I’ve run out of questions, Tsubasa.” Angela gives her friend a little pat on the head. “If I come up with any more, I’ll send you a text or an email. For now though, I think I should get back to work. Here, let me give you something.” Angela hands over some gift cards for the Lucky Spoon. “There should be enough there to get one cake for each of the girls in your team. Enjoy!”

Trying something new (Open RP)

Angela’s latest project is huge. So huge she’s swapped out her normal eight ounce coffee mug for a sixty-four ounce stein. So big she’s already filled three whiteboards and four single subject notebooks with calculations and notes. From the open notebooks her observer can see, her train of thought has drifted from English to Japanese to German, all languages she speaks and writes, and into Romanian, which she’s still learning.

She’s had to take a break from the process to recharge her siphon, but she’s still muttering about the whatever this is. Maybe she just needs someone to talk to?
