@thats-my-bad bros gotta start somewhere
So there was blood and pain in his side, that was good. Okay, well, not good-good because his head felt lighter and he was, in fact, bleeding. But--But whatever had happened a couple of weeks ago (his suit kept him up in the sky even though there was no power source--no, he will not use the word ‘flying’) meant it was just his mind playing tricks.
Clark didn’t even notice how the good guys had gotten a hang on the bad guys since he was bleeding against a wall, suitless and was only brought back to present time when Barry flashed his way out of the place with the bad guy in toll, leaving him alone in the alley with Cisco Vibe.
“Okay so this hurts,” Ray breathed out keeping his unhurt hand over his bullet wound as he used the wall to on his feet.
@thats-my-bad liked this for a starter from Felicity!
“Listen, all I’m saying is that the pink power ranger is clearly the best. And always has been. And the reds can all bite me.”

❝Clear out your schedule for tonight. I’m taking you out to dinner, to say thank you.❞ There were many things he wanted to say thank you for but the main was: thank you for standing by me, for loving me unconditionally even when I fucked up phenomenally. That was his main thank you.

“So I’m positive you probably have a lot of questions about my neighbor bringing people dressed funny and bleeding but I’m really exhausted right now. Could we do the telling me I’m wrong thing tomorrow morning? And you can put your stuff in the wardrobe, I made space for you.”

Wally was out there alone against that psycho with a stupid nickname. She had been practising during the night shift when no one was around--she didn’t only make toys for Wally but also, maybe, deviated this and that here and there to make herself a suit, just in case it was ever needed--not that she had anything to prove herself.
She usually stood behind, did nothing but patch up Wally and his suit while adjusting her glasses and pretending to be just the nerd who had been at the peace corps before getting the R&D scholarship and job here. She wasn’t a meta since birth, or at least no one suspected she was.
But there was something off about that day, something that smelled awfully like a trap and she decided to dawn her suit, pull her hair up in a bum, cover it with the hoodie and put on the goggles--and just in time to send that good-for-nothing metahuman away from Wally when he was going to give him the last touch of dead.
Unfortunately the guy had hurt her--not that badly but enough to make her scream and lose her focus--before taking off.
But Wally was safe and she stormed off before he could recognize her and headed back to the lab, painfully removing the coat and flinching at the not so small gauge in her arm, “bloody hell, how am I going to hide this?” she muttered under her breath before turning around to grab the first aid kit, too focused in the pain from her arm to realize someone else was in the room.
