I tried to call @leilitowfigh this morn to sing happy birthday. She's smart tho so she spared her ears and did not answer the phone. There are so many wonderful things to say about who she is and what she has meant to me in the 25 years I've been lucky enough to call her my friend. Here we are in 1996, looking like the modern bluestockings we are. Why I live in LA and she lives in Boston is one of life's great mysteries.
