What was Kate doing? Why was she so enthralled by this Prince? It wasn't as if he would marry her. She was, she was nobody. She barely had any influential connections other than her stepmother, and even then I was barely a connection in itself because she had chosen to leave court and marry her father. But still when the prince really looked at her she felt it in her bones and her stomach and her heart and when he kissed her, like he was doing now in secret her whole body felt like it was on fire. ❝your majesty❞ she said breathlessly ❝we cannot❞but she made no effort to pull away or push him or even show any real conviction in her voice.
