It’d been months, and she still missed them so much it ached. It was like a piece of her was missing. Yes, she owed them everything... but she’d known another life before them, she should be able to handle one after them, she knew some day she’d return.

Gin Manadh

Gin starts off his journey as the Inquisitor with only a bare minimum of memories and assumes this to be because of the conclave explosion.  This is partially true,  but it is later revealed that Lillith has had much to do with keeping the rest of his memories locked away as well.

Both memory blockades are lifted after his time spent in the Fade during the  ‘Here Lies the Abyss’  questline,  making him able to slowly regain his memories with time.

It’s a painful process because he finds out a lot of things he would have rather not known,  and his relationship with Lillith has never been the same.

Lillith Lavellan

Despite being an overall pretty charming guy,  and having a positive and friendly attitude towards people,  Lillith is objectively a pretty awful person.

To list a few things  (that are known)  that he has done within the Inquisition timeline,  he has:

helped the Sabrae Clan cross the Waking Sea to the Free Marches  (which is good)  but also urged them to camp out on Sundermouth  (despite knowing about its fearsome reputation)

got very attached to Gin as soon as he became part of the Lavellan Clan  (which was when he was still 14 years old)  and while Lillith did not  (and would never)  cross any romantic or sexual line until Gin was of appropriate age,  that could still be considered grooming

there’s also this situation where Cassandra finds out about what happened at Theirinfall Redoubt,  so Lillith digs into her past for ways to blackmail her and ends up finding out about Avexis.  So he takes Avexis away from the safety of her safe hidingplace and gets her shipped over to Haven to use her against Cassandra.  And then the attack on Haven happens and now no - one knows if she’s even still alive or not.

Seriously,  I love Lillith,  but at the same time ... fuck Lillith.

Varsi Tabris

I’m going to copy - paste a part from my fanfic’s canon timeline,  and give some clarification.

Upon arriving in the alienage,  there is chaos and three young elves are threatened to be arrested.  When Duncan steps in to conscript only Haven Tabris,  Sannin insists on conscripting her half - brother Varsi as well.

So in my  ‘canon’  Haven Tabris would be who would be considered the actual City Elf Warden,  while Varsi is her older half - brother.  (He is Adaia’s first child,  having another father than Haven.)

Varsi only became a part of the whole fight because his sister,  niece,  and nephew got abducted by some Human Nobles and he wasn’t going to let them get hurt.

He has this huge sense of justice and is a rebel at heart,  but he is also very laid - back and knows how to defusing high - tension,  because he’s always had to keep his feisty sister out of trouble.  And because Varsi doesn’t often show the passion he feels,  people often misread him as being bored or uncaring.

🙃 🥺 😂 Tig (formerly Topaz) would enjoy 'adventures' or more casual moments she gets to share with Iveani, and from that would love to get to know her more, but the Inquisitor title and the weight of that, plus the power and all the unknowns surrounding the mark, it all scares her a little too much. She's not afraid of Iveani as a person but there's a wariness and a bit of intimidation that sometimes holds her back from her usual buoyancy and disregard for titles and rules.

Makes sense! Iveani knows that it can be intimidating for some people. That being said, ignoring titles is probably the easiest way to get her to like you. She tends to feel like a lot of people don’t see her as a person, and only see her as the Inqusitor, and she hates that.

The gallows had closed at the first signs of conflict, effectively cutting Avexis off from returning to the Circle in Kirkwall. Any other time she might have thought of that as a sort of blessing in disguise, but as people began to take to the streets of the Hightown market in fear of the rebelling Qunari destroying the city--- a wave fear gripped the young mage’s heart. Not that she would have been able to live with herself if she fled and left the citizens behind to fend for themselves. 

“W-- What? No!” The blonde fell to her knees beside the merchant, an arm raised to cover both of their heads as a thrown glass bottle shattered against a nearby wall. A riot was beginning to break out as well and Avexis cast a quick glance around before spotting an alcove mostly hidden by another merchant’s discarded goods. 

“Come, I will help you. We need to get out of the street.”

☯️ The Order of the Grey Wardens

She respects them a lot for what they’ve done in the past, and admires how driven they are when it comes to accomplishing their goals. She also likes that they give people second chances, no matter who they are. However, she doesn’t like all of their actions, and thinks they can sometimes be too reckless.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐓 almost startled him, stopping vic in his tracks as he was about to begin some nervous pacing. the first thought to pop into his mind was different, not what he usually thought when being hugged ; what an odd feeling. he’d never really been hugged by anyone shorter than chest-level.

his own arms hovered awkwardly over torstan for a moment------was he supposed to bend down, or crouch ? certainly not, that sounded horribly offensive. instead, he settled to rest his hands against the man’s shoulders, adding as much of a squeeze to the hug as he could manage.

❝ i ... thanks. ❞ despite vic’s awkwardness, the hug still brushed away most of the rigid tension he’d placed on his own shoulders------&, he found ; he’d been so DISTRACTED thinking about it, that he’d forgotten what he was even nervous about to begin with. what a win-win. ❝ suppose i needed that. ❞

She and Topaz hadn’t known each other for long, but they hadgotten close very fast – faster than Iveani could have anticipated. It was niceto hit it off with someone so well.
