          a part of him knows it would be easier to get mad; easier to yell at stiles and do everything in his power to keep his son from getting closer to thomas. because the signs aren’t exactly subtle and noah knows just how impulsive stiles can be. but stiles is a smart kid. that, and noah knows that forbidding his son from doing anything (or seeing anyone) will simply encourage the opposite. 

         his front door opens just as noah is parking the cruiser. he bites back a grimace and flashes his  brights at the boy before rolling down his window. “you. get in.” he’s not asking. the temptation to make thomas ride in the back flickers, but noah leans over to open the passenger’s door for the teen instead.

it’s  seven  thirty  in  the  morning ,   tj  almost  never  saw  this  side  of  the  morning  and  miecz  really  wished  he’d  have  stayed  in  bed  for  just  a  little  while  longer.   enough  time  for  him  to  have  his  coffee  at  least.   he  loves  him ,  don’t  get  that  twisted  but  he  was  a  lot  at  every  moment  of  every  day   ;    it  was  a  part  of  the  thomas  charm  that  he  had  fallen  for  way  back  when  in  the  first  place.   but  miecz  was  not  a  morning  person  and  he  certainly  wasn’t  a  people  person  before  caffiene.   even  if  the  person  in  question  was  his.    “   you  need  to  get  up  and  you  need  to  get  dressed ,  your  mom  has  a  press  event  and  she  wants  you  there  with  her.   do  that  and  maybe  i’ll  sneak  in  a  couple  of  minutes  with  you  before  we  put  on  the  masks ,  hm   ?   “
