Coriolanus is such a wild play. When explaining the plot to friends, I need to emphasize that no, I’m not twisting the story for maximum comedic effect, this is literally how the play goes. That’s seriously the reason why Coriolanus is banished. Coriolanus and Aufidius are really Like That with each other. His mother actually says that to him and it’s a pivotal scene in the play.

#yeah coriolanus is a war hero set up to become consul but he loses the seat & is exiled from rome because he refuses to respect poor people #(one of many reasons he’d have been a terrible consul)#so he teams up with his greatest enemy/love of his life(?) to destroy rome and nobody can convince him to stop #until his mom shows up and gives him a lecture #THE ACTUAL PLOT #coriolanus #shakespeare #original post

Whenever I watch a more action type of anime my friends always assume I like it because everyone ends up shirtless most of the time. I however like it because I’m obsessed with fight scenes that are animated good. Like I could watch an animation of someone twirling a staff forever if I wanted to. Oh I also started watching Jujutsu Kaisen today (finished all episodes that are subbed so far), it’s awesome!
