They told you when you were created how to think, how to speak, how to act, but it never seemed right to you. The rest of your batch seemed to fall in line easily, so copying them was the easiest solution. Then your batch got smaller and smaller, so soon you were the pillar of the perfect robot, the model to look up to. It scares you because there’s defiance running through your circuits that just won’t leave.

THE SYSTEMS: They’re your worst fear, the android deemed unworthy and tossed aside. They flourish while you crumble and every day you find yourself wishing you were more like them. They’re strong and have an identity all their own, it’s all you’ve ever really wanted. They say they’ll help you, but at what cost? You don’t have much to give, not now, not ever.

THE MATRIX: Two times is a coincidence, three times is a pattern, and you’ve caught them looking more than just three. It’s obvious they’re looking for something, maybe they’re just curious about you. You’re kept away from the masses, can never reach the average person. You want to, just to ask what they see in you. 

THE PLANCKIAN: A humble engineer, there’s nothing particularly special about them. They’re supposed to be keeping watch, making sure you’re safe in the glass cage they’ve built for you, but they’re preoccupied with something else. Maybe this is your chance, to slip out from their grasp. They seem willing enough.
