"can you watch where you're going?" words snapped, as she smoothed down her dress. had they bumped into each other? yes, but she'd had to spend the past few hours playing the perfect daughter, meaning anyone who could be snapped at was. she would have tried to get out of her families party, but it apparently was 'mandatory'.
