I loved my Shiba to pieces, but heaven help me, I do NOT want adopt one that's less than 3 years old. I barely have enough energy to take care of my plants rn, I don't have it in me to deal with a young dog.

Sometimes I'll go to say something fairly moderate like

"I don't think billionaires should be a thing you don't need all that money, and you didn't actually earn most of it"

Okay since this topic is highly debatable here I'm putting a disclaimer that I respect children and I interact with them in the nicest way I can

That said I want to ramble

There's no concrete point to this post and you don't need to interact I just needed this out

I find wanting a dog the best litmus test to the question whether I want children

I love dogs, I love looking at picture of dogs, I love interacting with dogs, I find all dogs precious even if I don't like the breed, I hate drool and body fluids but I tolerate them in dogs and they wouldn't bother me irl if it was my dog

I dislike kids, I don't find them cute, I don't like interacting with them, I find them gross at all stages of their growth, I physically and mentally cannot stand human bodily fluids and I would be miserable if I had to deal with them irl

And I realize there's more to having your own kids than their childhood stage and it for sure would be great to have potentially a new best friend but just

I cannot ignore all of that and I don't want to power through that

There's also the issue of pregnancy and whether it is doable at all and if risk is worth the cost
