okay so i kinda pretend that when you tap the characters on their bio screens it’s the apprentice givin them a lil kissy on the cheek. it does kinda spray hearts when you do it so like why the fuck not? maybe it was even intended that way, because it seems accurate to character too.

even worse than naming minor characters in modern fic is having to come up with surnames for the mains in modern fic. however, with the assistance of the arcana discord server i use, i have solved this problem by assigning appropriate surnames to all of them.

Lucio’s last name is Goatfucker but with accents on all of the vowels so that everyone will read it aloud as “goatfucker” only to have him angrily correct them with the ridiculous true pronunciation. Lucio Göātfûckęr
Muriel Valdmentsh. it’s the phonetic transcription of “forest man” in Yiddish. there’s no actual reason for the Yiddish. it was just the first language i thought of.
