Outlander: The Bakra

I’m rewatching Outlander Season 3, Episode 12 “The Bakra”. While it’s not my favorite episode, Geillis and Lord John interacting has me in stitches. I love rare pair interactions and this is a canonical scene that seems like it would only happen in a scantly read fan fic. I love that Lord John thinks Geillis is the Absolute Weirdest. She tries to charm him like she’s done so many other men, but since he only has eyes for Jamie, that’s a firm No Sell. They’re both pretty quick on their feet, but Geillis ends up getting what she wants since she definitely has more stakes on the table. But I’ve read enough Lord John Grey novels to know that if he actually had skin in the game, Geillis would be no match for Lord John William Grey, second son of Viscount Melton...
