Eddie Balthazar one day for absolutely no reason *walks into the Badun Detective Agency Base (Carlos' Treehouse) absolutely covered in seven-to-eight kittens and three puppies*
Where a character goes to cool off if they get into a fight with someone else?
Coming out stories for the queer kids?
This question is slightly more complicated than the other two because most of the Stormbringer Crew didn’t really…come out?
Like. None of them really tried to hide the fact they were gay, bi, etc. because it’s the isle and most people on the isle really don’t care about that type of thing because while the most, if not all of the disney villains, may be hypocritical more than a few of the next generation are under the impression that the villains and Auradon don’t really get to tell them whats wrong or right.
Whether or not they’re willing to say this outright, most of the isle kids believe this—especially the Stormbringer Crew.
So none of them really feel the need to come out.
But at the same time they kind of do have a coming out story—which is this: Howiee Wolf, son of the big bad wolf, was talking about how he didn’t understand why people were under the impression that all pirates weren’t the straightest of the bunch because he had never met a gay pirate in his time growing up on the Isle (which is basically pirate central these days).
Only for his friends to inform him that, he has in fact, met several gay/something other than straight pirates—and that he actually spent quite a lot of time with some of said non-straight pirates.
The werewolf has never been more embarrassed.
Meanwhile with the Badun Detective Agency, Harry didn’t know there was a word for what he was until he got to Auradon and discovered the terms asexual and aromantic.
How certain characters got their nicknames?
The Stormbringer Crew:
Captain Hannah Hook of the Isle—Hannah Hook has many nicknames.
The Captain.
The Stormbringer.
The Messenger.
Scream Queen.
The Angel of Vengeance.
The Monster Whisper.
The Elegant Hannah Hook.
Chatty.
The Captain is self-explanatory. She's a pirate captain.
The Stormbringer and The Angel of Vengeance she earned due to her temper, which is notorious for (well at least to anyone who's seen it).
Scream Queen is because…well she is loud.
The Messenger is because she often plays peacekeeper for other isle kids and even some adults.
The Monster Whisper is also self-explanatory once you see just how not human her crew is.
The Elegant Hannah Hook is also very self-explanatory.
Chatty is a nickname Rio coined for Hannah because she's…well chatty…it is also a nickname Hannah refuses to respond to anymore due to the painful memories it brings up.
Prince Lucas Tremaine-Westergaard the 3rd of the Southern Isles—Luke has quite a few nicknames as well.
Motor Mouth.
Pretty Boy.
Reflex.
Speedy.
Quickstep.
Cassanova.
Gordan Ramsey.
Sir Flex-A-Lot.
Sir Flirts-A-Lot.
Elf Ears.
Turbo.
King Tremaine.
Hannah's Annoying Shadow.
Motor Mouth because Luke sometimes doesn’t know when to shut up and often ends up putting his foot in his mouth due to lack of thinking.
Pretty boy because 1. He’s pretty and 2. He’s very particular about his looks and how he maintains said looks.
Speedy, Quickstep, and Turbo because he’s fast in almost everything he does: running, walking, talking, getting into and out of situations, etc.
Reflex because he has freakishly fast reflexes and always has—it’s something even Lady Tremaine noticed.
King Tremaine because Anthony called himself Lord Tremaine for a few years, he looks like Anthony, and people like to tease him because of it. Luke hates it.
Cassanova because he’s a hopeless romantic who, before Darcy, flirted nonstop with people. He still kind of does but in a joking way nowadays.
Gordan Ramsey because he’s very particular about cooking, baking, and the condition of the kitchens in which he works in.
Sir Flex-A-Lot because 1. He flexes a lot and 2. He has a nasty habit of bragging about accomplishments he has.
Sir Flirts-A-Lot is self-explanatory.
Elf Ears because of his pointy ears (he doesn’t particularly like this nickname because it’s something he’s insecure about).
Hannah's Annoying Shadow because he’s very close with Hannah and is always willing to fight for her. They’re almost always together as well, because well codependency is infectious on the isle.
Princess Darcy Aoratos of Andalasia— Darcy has a few nicknames of her own.
Obsidian because she’s stubborn and very much into dark aesthetics.
Lady of Darkness because she can blend into the shadows quite well.
Creeps and Miss Spooks because she and Darcy once made the Mad Doctor curl into a ball and scream for help, and no one knows how.
Doodles and Stains because she’s very artsy and is almost covered in some kind of art related stain.
Sarcassa because she is the queen of sarcasm.
Princess Skia Aoratos of the Underworld— Skia has a couple of nicknames.
The raven because she can turn into a raven.
Sky is self-explanatory.
Hannah's shadow,Hannah's 2nd in command, Hook's shadow, Hannah's 1st twin, and Hook's 2nd in command because she is almost always by Hannah Hook’s side and they’ve been friends since they were babies. She’s mainly called those by their enemies.
Hades' shadow because when she was little she’d almost always be with her dad and she’s close to him.
Shadow because she blends into the shadows.
The Goddess Of Fear because she and Darcy once made the Mad Doctor curl into a ball and scream for help, and no one knows how.
The Reaper Of The Isle because she can talk to the dead and help them move on.
The Bane of Mal's existence because she enjoys annoying her older sister.
Female Hades because she’s her dad’s mini-me looks wise.
The Princess of the Underworld and Lady Skia are self-explanatory.
Prince Haul Bjorgman of Arendelle— He has a few nicknames.
Princey is self-explanatory.
Mountain Man because he, like his dad, spends a lot of time in the mountains.
Changeling because his father was adopted by trolls.
Troll Boy because his father was adopted by trolls and he spends a lot of time with trolls.
Prince of the Trolls, because his father was adopted by trolls and Haul grew up with them (and understands them better than most people).
Prince of the Mountains because he, like his dad, spends a lot of time in the mountains.
Reindeer Games because he has a pet reindeer and loves them.
Reindeer Boy because he has a pet reindeer and loves them.
The Mountain Cryptid because he, like his dad, spends a lot of time in the mountains.
Blondey is self-explanatory as well.
Hummer because he has a habit of humming. It soothes him.
Music Man because Haul is a musician.
Dreamboat because…well only Hannah and Tulip call him this and it’s because they both think he’s good looking and everything one could hope for in a guy.
Care Bear, again, only Hannah calls him this and it’s because she thinks he’s an absolute sweetheart and cuddly as a teddy bear.
The Animal Whisper because of how good he is with animals.
Moxxford Frankenstein-Van Helsing—Moxxford only has one important nickname.
Moxxie.
And he’s called Moxxie because 1. It’s a nickname of his name and 2. It’s because he has moxy.
The Badun Detective Agency:
Harold Badun, Jason Badun, Hermione Bing, Yzla Sorcerer, Reza Vizer, and Edgar Balthazar all have nicknames that system from their names.
Hayden Athanasiou is nicknamed Hadie both because his name is Hayden (his mom liked the name) and as a warning because if the looks didn’t deter you from messing with him enough, his nickname will. Because it basically screams ‘his dad is Hades, touch him and you’re dead’.
Where a character goes to cool off if they get into a fight with someone else?
The Stormbringer Crew:
Most of the Stormbringer crew has a certain crewmate they’ll go to to cool off after a fight.
When they can’t go to that crewmate, they’ll usually go to their favorite spot on the ship or to their favorite restaurant. Some will go to Frollo’s arcade. Others will flock to the rooftops. Some will just wander until they’re no longer mad or go scream in their pillow in their room.
Hannah Hook will often seek out one of her friends to rant or to get some perspective—usually it’s Skia, Luke, or River, but she’s absolutely content with going to someone else if needed. Sometimes, though…sometimes she needs a break from people. Blocking out Skia, Luke, and River’s emotions and thoughts are tiring and keeping a shield up so the three of them can’t hear her thoughts or see how she’s feeling because she just doesn’t want to explain why she’s tired or upset sometimes.
Skia will always seek out Hannah, River, and Luke or her siblings because they just get her better than the others do.
River like Hannah isn’t picky about who he goes to though he does usually go to his three besties first.
Luke, when he can’t joke or suppress his way out of emotions will go to Darcy because she doesn’t push him to talk and knows how to comfort him better than most people, and Hannah because he knows she’ll always listen even if she thinks he’s wrong.
The Badun Detective Agency:
Jace will go to Elle to talk and when he can’t do that he goes to the gym or shooting range to work out his frustrations.
Eddie does random jobs till it’s out of his system or when he can’t do that, he’ll play with his pets.
Hermie will cuddle up to the circus animals or do various tricks to try and improve her spirits.
Elle will take a path and scream underwater to get her frustration out without bothering anyone or, if she’s really bothered, she’ll talk to one of her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, or Jace.
Yzla will hide away in her room like she does when she’s sad or upset because she’s learned that being emotional in front of the wrong people will get her nowhere.
Reza disappears when he’s angry or thinks someone is angry with him. Disappears and works and works until it’s out of his system and he’s found a way to fix it.
Harry will find a case and work it till he’s chased every lead or until he passes out from neglecting himself.
Hadie will go straight to the kitchen and cook something, will go to his mom’s garden to work on it, or grab his guitar and scream his frustrations out into his music.
And so on for the proteges and anyone else they collaborate with.

Got any hc for Mr. Deley in your BDA descendants rewrite ?
Okay so I decided in this au, that instead of him being the usual dirtbag I write him/perceive him as I would write him as a tired, grumpy teacher who is frustrated by the lack of proper safety equipment in the school labs.
As a man who has had to explain to FG and his several other non-human coworkers why exactly this and that safety equipment is needed when teenagers-with-still-developing-brains are the ones handling the chemicals they're experimenting with, and why they need to spend more money on things like that.
A man who has had to remind his coworkers several times 'no, human children aren't fire resistant' and 'no, chemicals spilling on a human child does not have the same outcome as if it spilt on a demi-god, fae child, etc.'
A man who is used to explaining everything about a zillion times to his coworkers, superiors, and angry parents who's kids get away with everything short of murder and students who couldn't care less about what he's teaching if they don't get to do an experiment that day.
That is to say, I want to write him as a man who is tired of everyone around him and endless grumpy because he does not get paid enough for any of this but who isn't completely prejudice. A man who can admit he had a wrong first impression and who can try and change for the better (read a fic once that inspired this inkling of my brain). A man who has had to hear countless jokes about his name, and just wants to get a student who is actually eager to learn instead of students who give him heart attacks because they don't listen to instructions and, as one certain demigod student in his first year of teaching did, drink the chemicals on a dare in the not even two minute span he had his back turned to write the instructions down.
Which leads into my Badun Detective Agency Descendants rewrite where instead of the core four, it's The Badun cousins, Hermie Bing, Eddie Balthazar, Yzla, Reza, and Hadie who come to Auradon first.
Mr. Deley's expectations are low.
Is it right? No but it's the truth.
He hasn't had high expectations for many of his students since his third year of teaching and he certainly doesn't have any for students coming from a place where barely any teachers were sent.
He expects hell to be raised by the children (because even the Auradon Kids are little hell raisers who cause chaos who have thankfully gotten by miraculously unscathed).
He expects the children to months, if not years behind or completely unaware of chemistry in the worst case scenario.
He expects them to be disruptive and disrespectful, and for them to talk nonstop and cause all kinds of chaos that he'll have to clean up and smooth over with their foster parents because the heroes usually get mad if even a little unkind word is said about their precious little darling even if little Billy dared little Bella and not so little Hercules to drink chemicals or if little Susie set a girl's hair on fire with a lighter she wasn't even supposed to have in the first place.
All of that is to say, he had little to no expectations.
But these kids?
These kids blew all of that out of the water.
Jace Badun is quiet but follows instructions and answers questions when callee on, usually getting the answers correct or close to correct.
Hadie is eager to learn.
Harry Badun can keep up nearly seamlessly despite saying it isn't his best class.
Yzla and Reza are star pupils, always willing to learn something new and answer questions without even being called on, and they are always willing to tutor their peers if asked.
The only one of them he really has any issues with is Eddie Balthazar, because the kid is always falling asleep in class but that's not anything new and his foster parents say they're handling it, and that they're sorry they didn't inform him ahead of time about the issue.
They're honestly well-behaved more than the other students he has to deal with and make him rethink everything he had thought before hand (like Evie hopefully did after d1 though judging by the books about Aurdaon Prep like the New Vks Guide, probably not).
I thought it'd be a nice change of space and well, I do like trying to make characters more complex.
In Your BDA Rewrite , Did Lampwick's Mama, Carina try to Parent Harry and Jace ? If so How did Both boys React to that ?
I mean, she and the rest of now adult Rossi family probably tried ?
Tried being the key word because Jace hasn't had a mom in eight years and has gotten used to taking care of others/being the dad-mom friend & well... Harry never had a mom to begin with.
Harry's confused as to what they're doing and resistant, like he is with Jace, because 'I'm an adult, I can take care of my self!' (he very much cannot).
Jace is just frustrated because 'I'm an adult, I can take care of my self!' (he can but he shouldn't have to).
And well, by the time Harry's mom (Helga Sinclair) does come back into the picture she's not happy about someone else trying to parent her kid (and Jace Badun isn't happy with her for trying to parent Harry after sixteen years. He's also more than willing to tell her that no, one year of her raising him when he was an infant doesn't count.... Yeah, she's gonna be on his bad side for a while because he doesn't understand that at all).
