Channeled my inner “strong independent woman who doesn’t need a man” yesterday when my driver’s side car window dropped out of the raise/lower mechanism and was just chilling inside the door.

Thanks to YouTube, a collection of small tools that I borrowed from the rescue squad, and access to an indoor garage with good lighting, I dismantled my car door from the inside out, reset the window, and put everything back together. 

My electric window is now fully functional once again. In the process, I did something to the trunk release mechanism in the door, but I would much rather have a window that closes fully!
